Oxidising Biocide
Product No: WEC-110
Description and Use
WEC-110 is a biocide that helps kill bacteria, algae and fungi, in the plants or systems which are subject to frequent usage of water. WaterEx's Oxo biocide has been proved effective against iron bacteria, nitrifying bacteria and anaerobic sulphates making the system cleaner. The chemical is a yellow liquid, which is alkaline in nature and soluble in water.
Dosage
If the system is subject to microbiological infestation WEC-110 can be used to control it. WEC-110 can be used the treatment of the following:- ~ Oil well brines
- ~ Mud
- ~ Paints
- ~ Emulsions
- ~ Coating materials
- ~ Paper mill water etc.
Feeding
The factors that define the level of dosage a system requires are:
- ~ Type of system.
- ~ Nature of microbial infestation.
- ~ Extent of the microbial contamination.
Handling
- ~ Just like other industrial chemicals, WEC-110 shall be stored in cool and dry places.
- ~ Away from direct sun light.
- ~ Moisture and heat etc.
- ~ Use gloves while handling the chemical container.
- ~ An immediate medical attention shall be paid in case the chemical meets the skin.
Safety
The product/chemical is not toxic in nature when used at the prescribed dosage levels. WEC-110 is completely biodegradable in nature and can be discharged into the waste stream.

Non-Oxidising Biocide

Description and Use
For having gamut in Industrial Cooling Water Systems you can rely on WEC-120. Quatemary Ammonium Compounds and Bio-degradable is the base used in the product. A wide range of pH can be controlled through this product.
Dosage
Dosed in the cooling lower sump at a point where thorough mixing of this product is possible. For about 10-12 hours it's essential to keep dosing the product in the shut blow down. For optimum results ensure to give a blow down to get rid of the deceased biomass that is compiled in the system.
Variations in the dosage will be according to the effective dosage provided, herewith. Pre-cleaning tasks for shoddily contaminated systems shall necessitate higher dosage. A dose level of 75 to 100 ppm is adequate.
Our representatives help in choice of the accurate dosage and frequency of application. It is suggested to avoid portable water system usage.
Feeding
To ensure good mixing, the WEC-120 can be in a straight line fed from the container into the basin of the cooling water system.
It is not mandatory to provide any specific feeding equipment for the purpose.
Handling
- ~ Avoid intake of WEC-120 internally as it can cause skin and eye irritations.
- ~ Splash plenty of water if in any case you come into direct contact with it.
- ~ Splashing lots of water and immediate medical assistance is suggested, in case of prolonged contact.
- ~ If there is ingestion, induce vomiting by administering warm salt water or any other emetic and further approach medical assistance.
- ~ It is advisable to wash the clothes properly which have been contaminated.
- ~ Protect the hands by wearing hand gloves while operating the WEC-120.
Safety
- ~ WEC-120 could be harmful to fish.
- ~ Avoid using portable water system.
- ~ Avoid disposal at areas where contamination of portable water may occur.
- ~ WEC-120 is slowly hydrolyzed to non-toxic products.
- ~ To pose no seepage troubles, most of these products are stripped off from the system as they are volatile.
