The frequency of tube failures shall be reduced as it becomes the main cause to get the system cleaned. Even a small quantity of deposit may affect the efficiency of the system, leading to the need for boilers.
During processes if the carbon alloy steels is exposed to high temperatures in the presence of air, oxidation is bound to occur resulting in the formation of mill scale. Mill Scale isn't great for the system, and when subject to cooling may create flakes. Thus, making the surface rugged and inconsistent.
Such processes affect the efficiency of the system, creating a need for regular maintenance. A periodic check-up of the system say in every 3-4 months has become essential, and the frequency shall increase with due course of time.
Description and Use
One of the best organic acid inhibitor is WEC-01. During low pH cleansing system, it is best in performance. Surface can be well protected through the use of WEC-01 as it immediately forms a protective film on bare metal when the deposits / scales are dissolved by acid.
Treatment and Dosage
For the duration of the process of low pH cleanout, the product is to be dosed alongside with acid at a level of 1% to 2% of acid quantity.
It is essential to use the product neat.

- ~ It is advisable to wear goggles and gloves for safety and care.
- ~ It is essential to avoid any direct contact with skin and eyes.
- ~ In case of any such contact, we must first rinse the affected area properly with water.
- ~ Medical assistance is recommended.
- ~ In case if it has passed internally, wash the mouth and rinse it carefully.
- ~ Seek medical assistance immediately.
