Coagulant

Coagulation is a process of neutralisation of the negative charge, thereon forming a larger particle which can be removed or treated easily. Coagulants have been in much demand assisting the industrial processes. To cater to such a demand aluminium based coagulants are formulated, which help in treatment of the following: potable water, wastewater, effluents and process water etc.

Application and Dosage

WaterEx's Cationic Ply Acrylamide, a dry PAM cationic flocculant is a formulation specifically created for the following solid-liquid separation processing machines:

• ~ Belt Filter Press, centrifuge, Screw Press with incremental production rate and for solids capture and cake solids.
• ~ For water clarification in, enhancing flowing in water, better treatment of the effluent water by reducing turbidity in the system.
• ~ Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF) helps in cleaner supernatants, thereon an increase in float solids and better throughput rate.
• ~ For the filtration process, leading to better quality and thereon an increment in throughput.
• ~ Thickening process leading to improvement in compaction, settlement in drainage and better effluent treatment.

WaterEx's Cationic Poly Acrylamide dry flocculants must be agitated with almost 0.1-0.5% concentration for at least hour. The process could be speeded up if warm water is taken into consideration. Even though it must not be advised to let the temperature rise more than 500C.

Handling and Storage

Some safety precautions that must always be followed are:

• ~ Follow the instructions from the material safety data sheet, as wearing splash goggles, lab coats, gloves, boots and vapour respirator while handling with chemicals or being in a factory premise.
• ~ If there are splashes on your skin, immediate rinsing is required with water.
• ~ A splash into the eye, calls for immediate need for medical attention.
• ~ One must not be injected.

WaterEx's Cationic Poly Acrylamide must be stored in the very same container as provided by the seller.

Keep the containers in covered, closed, cool, dry place, thus away from heat, flame and direct sunlight.
